ESE Lightning Conductors are characterized by reacting to the approach of lightning, capturing it before any other element within its protection zone in order to conduct the lightning current to earth via a safe path.E.S.E避雷针当雷趋近时能呈现其特性,比其保护范围内之任何设施提前截获雷击电流经安全路径导入大地。The standard name of this advance is “Advance Time (△t)”. It determines the radius of protection of the air terminal and must be tested and certified by official and therefore independent laboratories. CERTIFIED CURRENT WITHSTOOD:100kA, Direct application of 10 discharges with lightning impulse current 10/350 us, peak current higher than 100kA and specific energy higher than 2.5MJ/Ω, according to standards IEC-60-1 and IEC-1083-1.Tests of current withstood performed previously to the tests for determining the gain in triggering time with the aim of guaranteeing the performance of the lightning conductor after having received several discharges simulating a stroke of lightning.1-2. Working principle工作原理
Inmediately preceding the formation of a lightning discharge the ambient electrical field rapidly to levels in excess of 10 KV/m. The natural energy produced increases is utilized to prime the triggering device of the DAT CONTROLER PLUS ready for full activation.在云层对大地形成雷击之前其周围之大气间电场强度将骤升至10KV/M以上,这种自然能量的产生正好可作为DC型ESE避雷针之内装激发装置之工作能量。Lightning discharge approach provokes an intense and sudden increase of the electric field, thus originating a lightning strike risk area.
